Ingredients
- 100 g yogurt
- 240 ml Pure milk
- 350° hot water
- 1 banana
- 80 g strawberry
Instructions
- Prepare yogurt and a 240ml bag of whole milk.
- Prepare 35-40° hot water and pour it into the yogurt maker pot for later use.
- Pour in whole milk and yogurt, and use chopsticks to stir the milk and yogurt until they are completely blended, about 50 times in each direction.
- Cover the yogurt container with a lid, plug in the power cord, and let it ferment for 7-8 hours.
- Peel and dice the bananas. Wash and cut the strawberries into pieces and put them into a bowl for later use.
- Pour an appropriate amount of fermented yogurt into the bowl containing bananas and strawberries, and stir evenly with chopsticks
- Pour into the prepared cup and a homemade, additive-free yogurt fruit salad is ready.
Notes
1: The fermentation time of yogurt should not exceed 9 hours, but should exceed 6 hours.
2: Yogurt that exceeds 9 hours is over-fermented and cannot be drunk.
3: If you don’t have yogurt at home, you can use yogurt powder for fermentation, but the fermentation time should be slightly longer, about 10 hours.
4: The water temperature for fermenting yogurt should be controlled at 35-40 degrees. Too low or too hot will cause the final yogurt fermentation to fail.
5: You can add fruits according to your own preferences, or add some salad dressing to make a fruit salad.
6: If you don’t have a yogurt machine at home, you can use an electrical appliance that can keep warm to ferment yogurt, such as an electric rice cooker.
7: If you can’t finish the fermented yogurt, you can seal it in the refrigerator, but it can’t be kept for too long, otherwise it will deteriorate easily.
8: When fermenting yogurt, it is not easy to be in contact with air for too long, which will easily cause fermentation failure.
